JB Wood Industries Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1989. It started manufacturing audio visual racks in Johor Bahru and focused on JB and Singapore market under brand name DOME. DOME audio visual racks are marketed locally through its marketing arm, namely AV Dome Marketing Sdn. Bhd. In 1998 JB Wood Industries shifted its factory and head office to Sungai Buluh in Selangor and continues to expand nation wide. Two branches were set up, one in Bukit Mertajam, Penang to serve the northern region and the other one in JB to cover the southern region. Since then DOME became the largest and leading audio visual racks supplier in Malaysia with more than 1,000 dealers in Malaysia covering mainly furniture outlets, electrical shops, chain stores and hypermarkets.
